Yuengling Pint & Kitchen
A logo system for Yuengling’s first restaurant venture, drawn from the brewery’s vintage archive and presented for consideration.
Objective: As Yuengling began planning its Tampa Campus restaurant, I was assigned to develop brand identity concepts for the Yuengling Pint & Kitchen for internal consideration. The challenge was building a logo system that felt distinct from Yuengling’s beer packaging while staying rooted in the same heritage: a restaurant brand that could stand on its own.
Solution: I researched Yuengling’s vintage beer bottle label archive and used that visual language as the foundation, reinterpreted for a hospitality context rather than a packaging one. The result is a four-piece logo system: two primary logo lockups, a P&K monogram submark, and a “Beer Food Family” badge mark. Each serves a distinct role across signage, merchandise, and print applications, while drawing from the same heritage-rich vocabulary of typography and ornamentation. The concepts were presented to Yuengling leadership during the Tampa Campus planning phase, establishing the design foundation for stakeholder review.
Note: These logos are original concepts developed for internal consideration and do not represent the current Yuengling Tampa Campus branding.
