Yuengling OOH & Vehicle Wraps

Yuengling OOH & Vehicle Wraps

Taking Yuengling’s brand from shelf to street: billboards and vehicle wraps for Lager and Flight, designed from scratch and live in market.

Objective: Yuengling needed a cohesive out-of-home presence across two distinct brand lines, Traditional Lager and Flight, spanning billboards and full vehicle wraps. While prior OOH work existed as a reference point, there was no established system to follow. The challenge was building a visual approach from the ground up that could work across formats with fundamentally different physical constraints: a static billboard read at highway speed and a moving vehicle wrap seen from multiple angles and distances.

Solution: Working closely with the Marketing Director and Design Team, I designed each format from scratch within Yuengling’s brand guidelines, making decisions specific to how each piece would actually be seen. For billboards, hierarchy had to land in seconds: large product photography anchored the left, brand name and product line dominated the right, and every element was stripped back to what read clearly at distance. For vehicle wraps, the challenge shifted: the trailer became a moving canvas requiring the design to hold up from the front, side, and rear, across varying light conditions and viewing distances. Each brand line, Traditional Lager’s warm cream and maroon and Flight’s clean white and navy, drove its own distinct visual treatment while maintaining a consistent structural approach across both. The result is a multi-format OOH system produced and deployed live in market.
