Keystone Comic-Con
A full brand system redesign for Pennsylvania’s Keystone Comic-Con, developed from concept through execution as a capstone project.
Objective: Keystone Comic-Con needed a visual identity that could hold up across every touchpoint of a major pop-culture convention, from a website to event badges to a printed booklet. With full creative freedom to define the direction, I developed a rebrand rooted in the sci-fi, fantasy, and adventure genres that define the event’s audience, building a cohesive brand system from concept through execution.
Solution: The illustration work anchored the visual language: a sci-fi cityscape, custom weapon illustrations, and a halftone texture established the tone and gave the brand a sense of world-building that type and color alone couldn’t achieve. The primary logo, event badges, event booklet, and website prototype all draw from the same genre-inspired vocabulary, creating a brand that feels immersive and consistent whether a guest encounters it on screen or in hand.
Note: This is a student capstone project completed for educational purposes. Keystone Comic-Con branding shown is a speculative rebrand concept.
